Incada Silk is a GC1 Folding Box Board with a beautiful, silk coating on the front and a single coating on the reverse.
It combines superb stiffness with excellent visual impact, enhancing the results in solid and half-tone illustrations on gravure, litho offset, flexographic and digital presses.
The use of a multi-layered composition of wood-free outer layers, in Incada Silk, with CTMP inner layers, imparts superior bulk and strength. Added to this, the double coated printing surface provides a board suitable for almost any carton work application, especially high-end quality applications.
Incada Silk is suitable for most digital printing processes in the modern printing market, but still performs perfectly on gravure and offset litho presses. The ink setting and drying properties also ensure good runnability in high speed offset litho processes. The single coating on the reverse side permits a pleasing printing result on the inside of the carton.
Performance on the erecting and filling line is exceptional, due to the high stiffness.
