Setup
Store at room temperature (17-23°C), at a relative humidity of 50%, from 24 to 48 hours before use.
Unwrap the paper at the last moment before printing and rewrap it immediately after the print run.
For re-cutting:
- keep the paper fibre direction (// of the large size) perpendicular to the printing direction.
- For grammages > 135gsm, plan a rejection cut.
Printing
Printing techniques: B/W laser printing (dry toner) and Colour laser printing (dry toner): 80 - 170 g/m2., web digital, Sheet fed digital.
Finishing
Finishing techniques: foil blocking, embossing, lamination, all varnishing.
Forming
Suitable for perforating, drilling, die cutting.
Folding: parallel to the paper fibre direction (// of the large size).
Scoring : from 150 gsm, scoring with counterpart; from 200 gsm, larger scoring needed on the back of the fold.
Cutting : Ensure that the blade of the guillotine is sharp enough to avoid dust deposits.
Storage Recommendations
Maintaining the proper relative humidity of the paper is essential.
However, during transport from wholesale to user, temperature differences can arise. The paper must then be gradually acclimatized to the temperature in the processing space.
To maintain the proper Rh of the paper between printing, finishing and storage, the material must be covered with a pallet cover.
The paper can best be stacked on the pallet in protective packaging. Also, the paper must not be near an outer wall, in the draft, in the sun or near a heating element.
