Trading with Antalis

Antalis operates as a Business to Business company selling products specifically to businesses. To trade with Antalis you must first have an account set up with us. There are two ways to pay for our products, either on a credit account (subject to approval) or by credit card. When you set up an account with us, all transactions are subject to our standard terms and conditions as detailed in our terms and conditions section which can be found here.  In addition there are additional terms and conditions for online trading which can be found here.

On placing your first order online you will be required to accept our terms and conditions of trading. If these change, then you will be requested to accept the new terms and conditions before proceeding with the first order after the change. You only need to accept these terms and conditions once.

If you want any goods stocked by Antalis and you are not a business, please ring our sales desk on 01 876 3188 to find your local stockist of Antalis products.

Credit card payment specific terms.

As described in the online trading terms and conditions, if your agreed method of payment is  credit card, then you will be redirected to our online service provider Ogone, for the purposes of securing an authorisation for the transaction amount which will be visible both on the shopping cart, and the Ogone credit card capture screen. For your security, at no time will Antalis store or know your credit card details. When an order is authorised, the value of the transaction will be reserved against your credit card, but no payment will be made until the evening after delivery of goods. In the event of goods being delivered on multiple dates, then Antalis will charge and claim money for the value of these goods delivered that day, which means multiple claims against the transaction may be made, but only up to the value of the  authorised amount. This process is in place to ensure that you are only charged for the goods you have received, rather than for the goods you ordered.

Delivery dates.

Antalis strive to deliver either on the date you requested the goods to be delivered, or within one or two days dependant on where the goods are sourced from and where the goods are being delivered to. You can check when the goods will be delivered at any time during the order process by clicking on the check price and availability button next to the item after entering a quantity. At all times the expected delivery date for each item will be displayed on the shopping cart. The delivery date could be different for each order line, so we recommend you check the dates before clicking the order button to ensure you know when you will get the various parts of the order.

Cancellations.

Antalis accepts that you may want to cancel an order or order line from time to time. Antalis will accept cancellations if  the order is cancelled on the day the order was placed either by e-mail to dublin@antalis.ie, or via phone on 01 876 3188. If you wish to cancel an order later than the day of ordering, then this may be possible dependant on where the goods are in the delivery cycle, in which case please ring 01 876 3188 quoting the Antalis order number provided on the order confirmation you receive, who will instruct you on the process. Antalis cannot guarantee that you are able to cancel an order later than the original order date.

Returns and refunds.

If you wish to return goods or require a refund for goods then you must contact Antalis on 01 876 3188 quoting the Antalis order number provided on the order confirmation you receive. Returns and refunds will only be accepted under the following conditions:
- Goods are faulty – a return and refund will only be authorised once the relevant goods have been inspected and are deemed to be faulty. Once the goods have been returned, you will receive a refund on the credit card used for placing the order on the night the goods have been booked into the Antalis warehouse.
- Short Delivery – It is the customer’s responsibility to check all deliveries on behalf of Antalis against the despatch note you are required to sign. Any shortages must be clearly highlighted on the despatch note, of which the driver will take a copy back to Antalis. The quantity despatched will be amended on the Antalis system, and you will only be charged for the quantity of goods you signed for. In the case of a discrepancy of the amount you are charged against the signed for amount on the despatch note, contact Antalis on 01 876 3188 who will investigate and raise any necessary credits against the credit card you used to pay for the goods.
- Goods received damaged - It is the customer’s responsibility to check all deliveries on behalf of Antalis against the despatch note you are required to sign, any damaged goods you do not accept should be highlighted on the note, and the process of short delivery will then be followed. If you notice the goods are damaged after delivery, then the ‘Goods are faulty’ process will be followed.
- Unwanted / incorrectly ordered goods: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the goods they order are the goods they require. Customers should check the contents of the shopping cart before clicking Order button to ensure that the order is correct. Antalis accepts that mistakes can be made, and therefore if you have incorrectly ordered goods then contact Antalis on  01 876 3188 as soon as possible after the order has been placed.. If the error is spotted on the day of the order, then Antalis will cancel the order line, and you will not be charged for the incorrectly ordered goods. If the goods have been received, then Antalis will only collect and refund goods after agreement. A collection and processing charge may be applied if the goods were incorrectly ordered. Once the collection is received in the Antalis warehouse, a refund for the value of those goods will be raised against the card used for payment.
- Incorrect Goods delivered –In the rare occurrence that Antalis delivers the incorrect goods that were on the order, then the same process for short delivery should be adhered to, with the customer signing for a shortage of delivery and rejecting the incorrect goods. The customer will not be charged for these goods. If the error is spotted after the delivery has been signed for and accepted then ring 01 876 3188 to discuss the problem and if accepted then a collection and refund against the card used to pay for the goods will be arranged.

Minimum age and people authorised to order

All customer accounts are pre-authorised before ordering. Once a website account has been set up, the first person set up to use the website becomes the user manager for that account. It is the user manager for that account that can add and delete users. It is the customer’s responsibility to manage their own users and ensure that anyone with access to the website against their company account is authorised to order from Antalis, this also includes that the user is of legal working age. The user manager can delete a user at any time should they wish to prevent unauthorised ordering.

Compromised Passwords

If you feel at any-time that your password is compromised, contact Antalis on 01 876 3188 to have the password reset. Antalis will check that the e-mail address is still correct to ensure that the password is delivered to the correct user. The user can at any-time request a new password by clicking on ‘I forgot my password’ in the log in area, and follow the steps in the subsequent screens, if you encounter any problems in this process then contact Antalis on 01 876 3188. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure their password remains confidential, and it is not advised to share your password between colleagues, but to set them up as a user within the website on your account.

Customers are liable for all orders placed on the website, unless Antalis had been notified that the password had been compromised before the placement of a fraudulent order. Antalis will endeavour to work with you to reclaim the goods and provide a refund for any goods retrieved if the customer does not want them.

These provisions form part of the Antalis IE’s General Terms and Conditions of Sales, and of the Antalis IE’s Website Terms and Conditions of Use, especially regarding the rules on privacy and personal data protection which apply to www.antalis.ie usage.
